How do I get my Form 1099-MISC?
Updated over a week ago

This article was updated for Tax Year 2023, last edited on December 18th, 2023.

Non-employer payers have until January 31st to mail out your 1099-MISC. If they are putting together a consolidated 1099 statement on your behalf, they have until February 14 to mail out this form. You may also be available to download your 1099-MISC or consolidated statement if your payer provides you with online access to this form.

If by mid to late February you have not yet received your 1099-MISC, we recommend you check with the issuer.

The IRS also has an option to get a transcript of this documentation, but it may not be available during the standard filing period. More information can be found here.
