Yes. You can start your return over as long as you haven't submitted it.
How do I clear my return and start over?
Go to Tax home
Scroll to the bottom of the screen
Select Clear return and start over
You'll be asked to confirm before anything is deleted.
Important: Clearing your return can't be undone. You'll need to re-import and re-enter all your information.
What if I just want to change something?
You don't have to start over to make changes. As long as you haven't submitted your return, you can go back to any section and update your information directly.
Can I cancel my return?
It depends on whether your return has been submitted.
If your return was accepted:
Check for an email from [email protected] confirming acceptance. Once your return has been accepted by the IRS or your state, it can’t be canceled.If your return hasn’t been submitted:
There’s nothing to cancel—your return hasn’t been filed yet.

Can I start over if I've already filed?
If you've already submitted your return, Clear return and start over is no longer available.
Once the IRS accepts your return, you can file an amended return in april.
