You can’t download a file directly from april, but you can preview your return and save or download it to your phone or computer.
Find your return in the Document manager
Open the app you’re using to access april
Sign in and open your april account
Select the file folder icon at the top of the screen to open the Document manager
On desktop, you’ll see Document manager listed at the top instead of the icon
Save and download your return
Select the three horizontal dots next to the document you want
Select Preview
Save the document to your phone or computer
What you’ll find there
The Document manager is where all your tax documents live, including:
Your completed tax return
Documents you uploaded
Tax documents from prior years (if available)
