How can I find my AGI if I used a different tax platform last year?

If you filed your taxes last year using tax software, you can find your adjusted gross income (AGI) on Line 11 of your 2024 IRS Form 1040. Below are step-by-step instructions for common platforms.

Tip: No matter which software you used, you’re always looking for Line 11 on Form 1040.

TurboTax

  1. Go to https://myturbotax.intuit.com/ and select Sign in.

  2. Select Your tax returns & documents.

  3. Choose 2024, then select Download/print return (PDF).

  4. Open the return and find Line 11 on the first page of Form 1040.


TaxAct

  1. Go to https://www.taxact.com/auth/ and select Sign in.

  2. Find the section labeled 2024 Taxes and open the dropdown.

  3. Select Actions, then Download Return.

  4. Open the return and find Line 11 on the first page of Form 1040.

Note: If you don’t see the 2024 Taxes section, look for My Tax Returns in the top menu.


H&R Block

  1. Go to https://account.hrblock.com/ or open the MyBlock app and select Sign in.

  2. Select Taxes from the menu.

  3. Select the Prior Years tab.

  4. Choose View My Tax Return for 2024.

  5. Open the document and find Line 11 on the first page of Form 1040.


Other tax software

If you used a different tax software, sign in to your account and view or download your 2024 IRS Form 1040. Your AGI will be on Line 11 of the first page.


Still can’t find your AGI?

If you no longer have access to your tax software, you can get your AGI directly from the IRS using an online transcript.
